On Saturday morning, we braved the rain to snag a few deals at the leather market. Belts, scarves, and purses are a few of the finds you can take home. Michelle got some deals on some scarves before grabbing a "mama mia!" deal on a few purses.
After the market, we jumped in the car and headed south to the Tuscan region. Without a real plan, we drove around the countryside and stumbled upon a place to try some wine. It was delicious, of course, and we left with a few bottles. Great people at Fattoria Casa Sola {here}!! Definitely a fun day for all.
Belts, belts, and more belts.
Lots of colorful scarves to choose from.
Purses galore.
And of course, it's not an Italian morning without a brioche.
Almost time for olive harvesting.
Black Chianti rooster.
Old cart with wine supplies.
Mr. Snail just wanted to check out the passion fruit flowers.
Leftover grape skins, used to make grappa.
Time to taste!
Sweet wine to finish it all off.
Familia.
Making sure Newberry leaves it's mark.
