Italia in Nashville

We spent Sunday night teaching our friends how to make homemade pasta and a simple sauce.  Pasta is such a fun and easy (and tasty!) way to whip up a good meal and impress the masses.  You really only need some flour, an egg, and a little love to turn out some delicious noodles.  Wine also helps.

Ralph and I picked up some beets at the farmers market, so we decided to make one of our favorite filled pastas that Lucas taught us, casunziei.  We also rolled out some spaghetti and linguine noodles that we paired with a sauce made simply from onions, tomatoes, sausage and basil.  It was all so good.

After dinner we decided to take a little walk around the neighborhood and this was the view:

That skyline.  Enough said.
