Bills bills bills

Well what do you know… if you pay your internet bill, your internet will work.

So, before you guys go and think I'm irresponsible, let me just point out the fact that Italians aren't exactly timely in sending mail.  We know of people who have gotten tickets in the mail years after they move from here (so I can only imagine what kind of driving violations we'll be reminded of in the future).  They also aren't typically on a monthly billing cycle.  You just kind of guesstimate when you might need to pay something.  So, while I was waiting to receive my next internet bill (it has been about 7 months since I've gotten one), they decided it had been far too long since they received a payment and turned off the internet.  It's a vicious cycle going on here.

Do you know how difficult it is to pay a bill here without the actual bill?  Very difficult.  A lot of things are "impossible" and a lot of things need to be dealt with "domani" so it ends up being a pain in the rear.

In hopes to avoid this issue in the future, I asked if I could go ahead and pay it forward to cover all the way through our moving date.  Obviously, that would make things way too easy.  "Is impossible," was the response I got.  So many things are impossible here.  Except for cutting off your internet.  That is possible.

Allorah.

The point I'm really getting at here is that a Tuscany post should be up in the next day or two.  I'm in the process of spring cleaning, so as soon as I have a clean place to sit and an extra second to think, I'll post the beautiful pictures and share about our time down south!

Annnnd, lastly… we know where we're moving, so I'll be sharing our next adventure with you soon!
