J'adore Paris: Notre Dame & Eiffel Tower Picnic

We spent our Saturday in Paris leisurely wandering about.  After our boat cruise (I'll post pictures from that next, probably) I knew I wanted to go see the Notre Dame.  I tried to spy a hunchback, but I just saw a few gargoyles.  We also walked by the Louvre, saw the line, and decided we just weren't feeling it.  Pictures of the building were good enough for us.  (No Mona Lisa, we're so lame.)  We decided on a picnic dinner at the base of the Eiffel Tower, and it couldn't be a better end to a low key day.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...Pack up a nice picnic and enjoy the lovely weather!  Not too much commentary on these pictures, because we're hosting a dinner party (A.K.A. a bunch of hungry single dudes decided they were coming to my house to eat dinner).  So...enjoy!

The Louvre.  Check.

The Arc de TriompheCarrousel.  This is right outside of the Louvre and if you look carefully you can see the actual Arc de Triomphe through it.

Notre Dame.  Beautiful.

I think this was a sculpture of the humpback.

Paris has beautiful roses everywhere.

Again...European dudes.  They leave me speechless.

On the hour (once it gets darker) the tower does a little disco.  You can see a few sparkles in these pictures.

HAPPY WEEKEND!
