We're having to make some slight changes to our Valentine's Day plans. While I thought it would be nice to spend the holiday together, the Army has decided otherwise.
Bummed? Yes. Surprised? Not really.
Not only is next week a jump week for the guys, but John Ralph has staff duty on Tuesday, meaning he can't leave post for 24 hours. So. I guess I'll just have to go to him.
I'm trying to figure out some new food ideas and plans. Plus, he'll be on staff duty with a few other guys, so I can't leave them out. I also need everything to be easily transported. I have to scrap most of my decoration ideas, and it definitely won't be as large of a production as I had planned, but I think I'll be able to pull something off.
I'm thinking more along the lines of picnics and mini meals. Here are some links to some of my inspiration!
