We live on the main drag downtown. At first, we didn't think we wanted to be right in the thick of it, but now we're really glad we picked this place. This is the view down the street from our window. I realize this isn't the best picture, but we're going to go with it. We're on the top floor, above a bookstore and across from a church, so it's not too noisy. The main square is right behind our building, and it's about a two minute walk to the bus stop.
This is what our living room area currently looks like. The piles of stuff on the floor is John Ralph trying his hand at organizing. Yesterday he even asked if he could have a "space" where he could put all of his stuff when he got home. Y'all, I think he's learning. Now I know I am difficult to live with, so I don't mean to sound insincere when saying that. I like to do things my way, and I don't really think there is anything worth discussing other than that. For example: "My Way" says everything has a specific place it belongs, therefore, I should never, ever find it in another place if not in use, because that just wouldn't make sense. So I'm being completely honest when I say it's better than getting flowers when I see his all of his stuff in his "space" rather than strewn across three rooms. It's the little things in life that put a smile on my face.
