High Five for Friday

I thought it might be fun to try something new this Friday and link up with a different blog.  Lauren Elizabeth keeps me entertained and I'm happy to be jumping on the High Five for Friday band wagon!

Here's a look at my top five moments this week:

1.  The weather has been phenomenal and the pup and I have been taking lots of great walks.  This morning, we tried out a new walking path a little north of town and had a great view of the mountains.  Spring walks are my favorite.

2.  On Wednesday, I went to Nove to "just look" at some ceramics.  Naturally, "looking" turned into "buying".  I ended up getting a large platter, a large bowl, six egg cups, a dip bowl, and two wine coasters for only 35 euro.  The platters normally retail for over $100.  I basically made money.

3.  Earlier this week I booked us a tiny cottage in Tuscany for a little getaway.  Although we don't go until next weekend, I find myself just looking at pictures and dreaming about relaxing with my wonderful husband.  I can't wait for him to be home again!

4.  The pup has really been on her best behavior lately.  It makes for a good day when we have nice weather, she can get proper exercise, and we can work on training.  She drives me bananas sometimes (puppy, puppy, puppy!), but since I'm here alone for the majority of the time, I'm really glad I have her to keep me company.

"If I could just figure out how to cross the ditch without getting muddy…that field is calling my name."

5.  I finally get to eat Indian food tonight!  I've been craving it for quite a while now, so a friend and I are meeting up for dinner.  She ate it last night too.  That's how good this place is.

So there is my top 5.  Head over to {Lauren Elizabeth: A Style and Beauty Blog} for more Friday High Fives!

  1. Hello from The Lauren Elizabeth linkup! I ADORE Tuscany! You are so fortunate to make that a quick getaway spot. I totally get that you "made" money off shopping. I have brilliant shopping math as well as calorie/exercise math as well. ;) I JUST ate some Indian food-SO easy to get in LA or Trader Joe's (our favorite grocery store)-ha! I remember the Pigly Wiggly when I was a kid living in South Carolina. My dad was a dentist and he was stationed at Paris Island. Having a dog is such a Godsend when you're new somewhere. I hope you are making lots of friends!
