The hubby has been home for just over a month and we've been taking some time to find our balance again. I think one of the common misconceptions of homecomings is that everything is instantly rainbows and butterflies as soon as your loved one comes home. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome having them back, but things don't just automatically go back to "normal". The reality is that you have to make a new normal. And that takes time.
We've been spending most of our time (when we aren't working) hanging around our town or going on small trips. We had about 4 days of spring, but then it just turned rainy and cold again. Hopefully after our trip to S.C. in April, we'll come back to a green, slightly warmer Italy.
One of the side streets just down the road from our apartment.
They had some sort of ultra marathon end in the square last weekend. I guess if you have to run 60something kilometers, you might as well do it somewhere pretty.
Driving down the road to a nearby winery.
