And her name is Darby.
We thought long and hard about the pros and cons of adding a furry, four legged pup to our family. We know it's going to be a lot of work, mostly because we want her to be an outstanding, well trained dog. We know we can go ahead and kiss some of our favorite shoes (and possibly a remote or two) goodbye. We know that we're going to have to wake up a lot in the middle of the night to potty train her....
But, we also know that it is a good time to expand our little family. We know that we're going to have lots of fun adventures together. Most of all, we know that the love a pup offers is therapeutic and fulfilling. So, on June 29th we're going to bring this little rascal home with us.
"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?" ~Marley & Me
darby williams...nice ring to it
ReplyDeleteYour puppy is beautiful! Kevin and I have an Australian Shepherd named Whaley and she is the smartest, sweetest, most loving dog. And, blue merle's are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWe can NOT wait to pick her up on Friday! After her shots, we're wanting to put her in some agility training to help with the fact that we'll have her living in a city for the beginning of her life. I'm really looking forward to loving on the furry little pup!
DeleteTraining is a great idea! Aussie's are extremely smart dogs so it will definitely be worth it! Happy for you:)
